Emma is excited to have started her 2nd season of Upward Basketball!
The league is sponsored by Oak Grove, our home church. Between January and March, Emma will play eight games and memorize ten verses of Scripture. Along with the fundamentals of the game, the coaches teach teamwork, good sportsmanship, and Christ-like attitudes.
Emma did a great job in her first game yesterday, remembering a lot of the skills she learned last year. Her only worry for next week is that her best friend will be on the opposing team.
